Working together to provide the very best of care Residents in our 245-bed facility enjoy a fulfilling life with around the clock care and personalized attention in a nurturing atmosphere. Each resident's medical care is managed by an attending physician who leads the clinical team which is composed of a licensed nurse, certified nurse assistant, social worker, dietitian, recreational assistant, speech, physical and occupational therapist. At Dawson, the clinical team will assess your needs and develop an individualized plan of care for you. Our nursing staff cares for your most basic needs as well as a comprehensive range of skilled nursing services including infusion therapy, advanced wound care, respiratory treatments, hospice and respite programs. Dawson offers considerate dementia care for residents experiencing challenges related to Alzheimer's disease or related dementias. For those residents requiring rehabilitative services, we have a state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Department. Dawson's experienced therapists treat a wide range of deficits with good outcomes. Social workers are available to counsel residents experiencing difficulty adjusting to unforeseen changes in their health or lifestyle. Beyond the day-to-day routine of nursing care, Dawson Nursing Center engages our residents in an array of stimulating, therapeutic and simply enjoyable experiences. Candlelit jazz supper clubs, theme parties and intergenerational programs are particular favorites of our residents. Family and friends, as partners in the care of our residents, are encouraged to visit frequently and participate in resident care decisions and activities. |
